Most of the time after going through a first round interview, Hiring Managers etc, may become interested and feel you are the right fit for the company. So the Hiring Manager, may be taking you out to lunch on a one on one meeting or a group lunch interview just to see how you would interact in a less formal atmosphere. Regardless whether you feel you have the in with this company or not, be professional, dress the part as if you are in a formal interview (unless specifically told not to). When it comes to lunch I recommend ordering a salad, something where you can ask questions, stay engaged, answer questions and keep your hands clean. After the interview, when you are going back home, get your filling burger! ;) |
