Group interviews can be 2 or more people interviewing you, just like a one on one except you would get more questions from varying perspectives. 4. Panel Interviews - normally in Panel interviews there are a series of prepared questions that are asked and are rated on a scored scale. These questions are the same for every other interviewee. Just keep these tips in mind:

5. Video - Sometimes you may be requested to conduct a video interview, that is a Skype interview, instead of going to an office to actually meet in person. Typically I have come across this from recruiters who just simply need to tell their client that they "met" with you, and to verify your appearance. Here are some tips:
- Research the company and people- Go on the company's website and review the About page see what the company is all about, what's new, and people.
- Go on LinkedIn and look up your interviewers if possible (just keep in mind that they may see that you have viewed their profile)
- Smile - when meeting your interviewer even though it's a video interview keep this in mind
- Dress - most likely your interviewer will see you at the most from the waist up, however stay professional as your would in an onsite interview. Dress in solid colors, professional/business casual men and women should dress in professional/business casual attire regardless.
- In front of you - Have a pen and paper in front of you if you feel comfortable to take notes
- Listen carefully and answer questions with information you learn in the interview or through your research
- Relax it may seem really awkward at first however, the best way to deal with the awkwardness is to think it's face to face in person interview. Secondly if it helps and there is an option to view yourself as you are seeing your interviewee try not to look at yourself, you may feel even more awkward.
- Have questions ready
6. Recorded interviews - It's becoming more of a standard lately that some companies will want to interview you through a video and audio recordings. Typically you'll get a link sent to your email, you'll click on the link and it will start the video and or audio recording of the interview. For these types of interviews remember these tips:
- Research the company and people- Go on the company's website and review the About page see what the company is all about, what's new, and people.
- Go on LinkedIn and look up your interviewers if possible (just keep in mind that they may see that you have viewed their profile)
- Smile - when meeting your interviewer even though it's a video interview keep this in mind
- Dress - Even though you are being recorded, if you know it is just audio, it still may get you into interview mode if you dress in business casual or professional attire.
- In front of you - Have a pen and paper in front of you if you feel comfortable to take notes
- Listen carefully and answer questions with information you learn in the interview or through your research
- Try to speak clearly as you would a regular interview. To help with this forget that this is a recorded interview.
- Relax it may seem really awkward at first however, the best way to deal with the awkwardness is to think it's face to face in person interview. Secondly if it helps and there is an option to view yourself as you are seeing your interviewee try not to look at yourself, you may feel even more awkward.
